ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP): An All Pakistan Mining and Industrial Association (APMIA) on Tusday called on Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Gilgit-Baltistan and Saffron Engineer Amir Muqam.
During the meeting, the minister assured the delegation that he would take up their issues with the relevant authorities for redressal.
The minister said that due to his efforts, the merged tribal districts and Malakand Division had been exempted from tax for the next financial year.
The initiative would hopefully be beneficial in promoting business activities in the area, he added.
The delegation members informed the minister about their problems.
The delegation included APMIA Vice Chairman Shah Khalid Safi, Haji Humat Shah, Malik Sultan, Haji Rozi Gul, Haji Ibad Gul, Shakeel Momand and Fazal Rabi Safi.
